ACTIVITY REPORT ON THANK YOU CARD MAKING
Date: 15th October 2025
Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Event: Thank You Card Making Activity
Participants: Seva Chakkara Children
On 15th October 2025, Seva Chakkara Children’s Home organized a creative and meaningful activity—Thank You Card Making—for the children, held between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. The session was specially arranged as part of the preparations for the upcoming Founder’s Day Celebration, where the children wished to express their gratitude to the chief guests through handmade cards.
A team of enthusiastic volunteers from ICICI Bank visited our home to conduct and guide this activity. Their presence and encouraging attitude created an energetic and inspirational atmosphere for the children. The volunteers began the session by interacting with the children, explaining the purpose of making Thank You cards and how thoughtful gestures can express appreciation and respect towards guests and supporters of the home.
The volunteers provided the children with all necessary materials, including colored papers, chart sheets, stickers, sketches, crayons, glitter, and decorative items. They demonstrated different card-making techniques and designs—such as folding styles, creative borders, hand-drawn patterns, and simple yet beautiful messages. The children eagerly joined the activity, showcasing their creativity and artistic talents.
Throughout the two-hour session, the children worked in groups and individually, creating colorful and heartfelt Thank You cards. The volunteers moved around to assist, encourage, and appreciate the children’s efforts. The activity not only enhanced their artistic skills but also strengthened their ability to express gratitude and kindness.
The atmosphere was filled with joy, teamwork, and excitement as the children proudly displayed their completed cards. These handmade Thank You cards will be presented to the distinguished Chief Guests during the Founder’s Day Celebration, adding a personal touch to the event and allowing the children to express their appreciation directly.
The session concluded with a group photo, capturing the cheerful moments shared between the volunteers and the children. The staff members of Seva Chakkara Children’s Home thanked the ICICI Bank team for their time, effort, and support in making the activity both educational and enjoyable.
Conclusion:
The Thank You Card Making Activity conducted on 15th October 2025 was a creative, engaging, and heartwarming event. It provided the children with an opportunity to express gratitude through art while learning new creative skills. The participation of ICICI Bank volunteers greatly enriched the experience, inspiring the children and bringing smiles and confidence to them.
