Date: 26th November 2025 Time: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM Event: Government Medical Camp and Movie Outing Participants: Seva Chakkara Children On 26th November 2025, a Government Medical Camp was conducted at Seva Chakkara Children’s Home for the benefit of the children. The camp was organized to assess the overall health status of the children and to ensure their physical well-being through regular health monitoring. During the medical camp, the children underwent a general health check-up, including the measurement of height and weight and examination for common health concerns such as cold and minor ailments. The medical team also enquired about regular medications taken by the children for any existing health issues. Special attention was given to children who required further medical care, and a few children were advised to undergo eye check-ups for detailed evaluation. The children cooperated well with the medical team, and the camp was conducted in a systematic and child-friendly manner. The initiative helped in identifying health needs at an early stage and ensured appropriate follow-up care wherever necessary. In the afternoon, the children were taken for a movie outing as part of a recreational activity. The outing coincided with an inaugural cultural ceremony featuring traditional art forms such as Parai, Silambam, Oyilattam, Poi Kaal Kudhirai, and dance performances. The children thoroughly enjoyed the performances and the overall outing experience.
